Our Coriolanus is performed by one actor, in both English and Danish. As she adopts each character the conflicts within Rome become embodied and given death.

We encourage audiences to see both versions. Niels Brunse’s excellent translation and the different vocal qualities demanded by the two languages have a profound effect on the characters, on our sympathy for them and on their power.

Our Coriolanus was first performed at Bådteater in Copenhagen, has been taken to Esbjerg and in 2024 will tour Denmark.
